IMG_0190-2 (1).jpegFollowing the release of his debut EP ‘Little Love’ and over 1M streams in the process, emerging London singer/songwriter James Smith releases his self-produced new track ‘T-Shirts’.

Having achieved cult status through his previous tracks ‘Little Love’ and ‘Holy Water’, taken from his debut body of work, James comes through with a new track ‘T-Shirts’ – another precociously vivid study on the kind of break up that stays lodged in your heart – the kind that stubbornly keeps you wondering if, well after the event.

Again it’s the level of emotional frankness and pure, refined vocal ability that’s sure to continue the intrigue that’s been apparent since James’ first release earlier this year.

Speaking on the track, James states: “‘T-Shirts’ is about a particular type of ‘break up’ – the sort of relationship that ends but always stays with you.  The day I wrote the song I was going through a similar thing.”

James’ emergence onto the scene continues to resonate with both mainstream and cult audiences. The young star’s ability to balance pure songwriting ability with a natural ear for melody is something that can be heard on first listen. James already seems destined for big things.
