Toronto-based vocalist/producer Sylo Nozra premieres two new singles “Je T’Adore” and “OMW” with Hilly Dilly. The tracks were also included on Spotify’s Mellow Bars and New Music Friday U.S. and Canada playlists.
The musical maestro has made headlines with his avant-garde R&B style since bursting onto the scene in 2015. Canadian music blog Hilly Dilly is enthralled by Sylo’s first offerings of 2018. “On both new tracks, Sylo lays soothing, captivating vocals over current-sounding production, and the result is divine.” Toronto native Ty Senoj (Noisey, Complex) contributes his chic flair to “Je T’Adore” while Sylo’s vocals on “OMW” provides a euphoric feeling for listeners.
“Je T’Adore” was added to Spotify’s Mellow Bars and New Music Friday U.S. and Canada playlists. These playlists feature other standout artists like Meek Mill, Justin Timberlake, Ella Mai, and Sia.
Both songs are Sylo’s first musical output since releasing, “Right Here”. New York City-based music magazine The Fader premiered the track in April. They described his sound as “….soaring R&B, crisp and composed yet as universally soothing as a warm washcloth to the forehead.”
Sylo has steadily increased his fan base throughout North America since debuting his critically acclaimed EP This_Era which included the breakout single, “Losing Myself” which accrued 5.4 million streams after being placed on Spotify’s top streaming playlist.
In 2017, he released the Fervor EP. The 7-track project premiered exclusively through the Los Angeles-based music publication Ones To Watch. They wrote, “the seven-song collection explores romantically-charged lyrical themes with an effortlessly smooth instrumental backdrop.” Sylo’s talent has been compared to fellow Canadian stars such as Daniel Caesar, Allan Rayman, and Charlotte Day Wilson.
His upward trajectory will continue with the release of “Je T’Adore” and “OMW”. The vibrant singles provide a smooth, slow tempo soundscape completed with tropical rhythms. His syncopated instrumentation and sultry vocals will captivate listeners from beginning to end. Both singles are sweet, refreshing love songs.
