NEW VISUAL: PETIT BISCUIT “Problems”(Shallou Remix)

Petit Biscuit - Problems (feat. Lido) [Shallou Remix] - Art.jpegPetit Biscuit has just unveiled a new re-work of his hit “Problems” with Shallou on the official remix duty—watch the video here. The original version of the track, featuring Lido, has already surpassed 20 million streams.

The new remix comes just days before Petit Biscuit’s Coachella debut this Sunday, April 15. The performance cements Petit Biscuit’s status as one of the most prodigious young producers in the game right now and follows a whirlwind year for the 18-year-old artist, whose debut album, Presence, was released in November to widespread critical acclaim and was nominated for Best New Album at France’s Victoires de la Musique, the country’s highest musical honor. Watch Petit Biscuit play a very special version of “Sunset Lover” at the ceremony here.

Beyond Coachella, Petit Biscuit will play Sasquatch and Lollapalooza as well as select headline dates this spring in Pomona, Oakland, Miami, Atlanta and more. In addition, Petit Biscuit will play his first-ever shows in Asia this summer, with stops confirmed in Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan. Visit petitbiscuit.fr for full tour routing.

The new album, which also features single “Waterfall” featuring Panama, has charted worldwide and received extensive acclaim from Billboard, Associated Press, MTV, YourEDM  among others.

Recorded over the course of the past year, Petit Biscuit—a.k.a. Mehdi Benjelloun—wrote, produced and mixed Presence completely independently, finding time between high school exams and sold out tours across the U.S., Europe and beyond.

A classically trained musician from a young age, Petit Biscuit plays piano, guitar, cello and more, and began experimenting with electronics to form his signature sound at age 11. Presence is heavily informed by his schooling, combining acoustic elements with innovative electronic production and his trademark vocal manipulations.
